Tips to Study for Class 10 Board Exams
Studying without having a plan or strategy does not yield any fruitful results. To achieve a high score, students need to have a plan, and a preparation strategy for the exam. It would be better for them to start studying as per their plan from the beginning of the academic session. Below, we have provided some tips that will guide them in their studies.
1) Study as per the Syllabus
Students must go through the entire syllabus in detail at the beginning of the academic year. They must follow the CBSE Syllabus for Class 10 and study the topics as prescribed in the syllabus. Doing so will help them cover the entire syllabus on time, and they get enough time for revising, and practising the sample papers and previous year papers. With the help of the syllabus, students will not get diverted from their studies and focus on those topics which are mentioned in the syllabus. Thus, the syllabus works as a guiding map for students and keeps their studies on the right track.
2) Follow the NCERT Books
Students are recommended to study from the NCERT books. These NCERT books are exclusively designed for students as they are based on CBSE guidelines and cover the entire syllabus. Each topic is explained in a simple way. The concepts are elaborated with experiments, examples, diagrams etc. At the end of each chapter, exercise questions are provided for students’ practice. In the board exams, most of these exercise questions are directly asked. So, students are advised to follow these NCERT books and study them to build a strong foundation.
3) Focus on Self Study
Self-study is one of the most crucial components that decide a student’s performance in the board exam. Students mainly focus on finishing their homework and tasks assigned by their teacher.
